On June 21st Tracks Inspector took part in Arina’s annual Digital Investigations Conference hosted at Hotel Belvoir in Rüschlikon, Switzerland. This conference provides a platform for computer forensic experts, vendors, partners and sponsors working in Digital Investigations and E-Discovery. The event focuses on corporates, law firms, advisories, academics, government and military organizations.
This year’s keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Bernhard M. Hämmerli, Head of Cyber Security, SATW, with a presentation on Cyber-Malware: Anatomy, Technical Feasibility and Borders. Other speakers at the event gave presentations and workshops which focused on topics such as the Panama Papers, Advanced Memory Forensics, current insider risk landscape, and many other interesting subjects related to digital investigations and E-Discovery.
Frank Coggrave (in the picture) presented a workshop on Re-engineering the digital forensic process. In this workshop Frank explained how Tracks Inspector can help organizations to focus highly trained specialists to squeeze the last drop of evidence out of digital artefacts while enabling them to work together with investigators. This way organisations can solve the problem of too much forensic data, not enough specialists and not enough time. Tracks Inspector helps with re-engineering the forensic process.
The DIC2016 conference was a great success and we look forward to the next Arina event in October!
